As we step into 2025 and celebrate our third-year marriage anniversary we are not just turning the page on a new year—we are embracing a fresh chapter, filled with opportunities for growth, joy, and deep connections. This year represents a special moment in time, unfolding patterns of life that God has graciously woven into our journey.
Our third year of marriage, feels like a year designed for new beginnings, both in our careers and in the precious moments we share with our loved ones. We look forward to the challenges that will push us to grow, to the creative breakthroughs that will expand our horizons, and to the fulfillment of seeing our hard work and prayers come to fruition in meaningful ways. But just as important is the time spent with family—the ones who encourage us, love us, and remind us of the beauty of God's grace. Together, we continue to weave the threads of our own "quilt of life," each moment adding to the growing pattern of love, faith, and connection that we've built over the years.
Life, much like a quilt, is a collection of repeated designs—comforting, familiar, and yet always evolving. This year, we are excited to see how the intricate, decorative patterns of our shared experiences continue to unfold. The way we laugh, support each other, and face challenges together creates a unique, vibrant design—a pattern that’s unmistakably ours, stitched with love and guided by faith.
And perhaps, there’s no better year for this reflection than 2025, a year marked by extraordinary mathematical patterns. In math, 2025 stands out as a perfect square ((20+25)² = 2025), symbolizing balance, symmetry, and completeness—qualities that we pray to embody in our own lives as we seek God’s will. Additionally, 2025 is the sum of 1-9 cubed (1³ + 2³ + 3³ + 4³ + 5³ + 6³ + 7³ + 8³ + 9³ = 2025), a fascinating number that reflects harmony and interconnectedness, much like the relationships we build in faith, family, and community. (Julian was shocked and impressed I was fascinated by all of this math since he is the numbers guy.)
We know that God has a plan for us, and as we step forward into this new year of love together, we trust in His guidance and grace. With faith as our foundation, we are prepared to face whatever challenges and blessings that come our way, knowing that the patterns we create—whether in work, family, or love—are all part of His divine design. Through every high and low, He remains constant, and it is through Him that we find the strength to continue weaving our quilt of life.
So, as we welcome year FOUR, we are filled with gratitude, hope, and anticipation. We look forward to embracing every new challenge, every new joy, and every new opportunity to serve Him and others, knowing that the patterns of our lives are part of a much greater tapestry that only He can see in its fullness.
